Conrad COONE 140 Shortlisted for the International Yacht & Aviation Awards 2025! Voting Opens Today

Conrad Shipyard and Frank Neubelt Yacht Designs, by German Yacht Couture International, are proud to announce that the in-build COONE 140 has been shortlisted for the prestigious International Yacht & Aviation Awards 2025 in the categories Concept Over 40 Meters and Interior Concept Design.
The COONE 140 is a pioneering addition to the world of luxury sailing — the first flybridge performance world cruiser of its kind and size. Designed for both thrilling regatta racing and long-range blue-water cruising, it redefines standards in the semi-custom sailing yacht market.
Commissioned by an experienced racing yacht owner, the COONE 140 is currently under construction, with delivery scheduled for 2027. At 41 meters in hull length, plus a bowsprit, the yacht offers the exhilarating performance of a racer combined with the comfort and autonomy of a high-end ocean cruiser. Designed for extended off-grid living, it boasts transatlantic range and accommodates up to six guests in unparalleled comfort and privacy.
One of the yacht’s signature features is its apartment-style master suite, complete with a private entrance and terrace. This leads into a single-level cockpit and saloon beneath a refined flybridge. Expansive panoramic windows flood the interiors with natural light and offer breathtaking sea views, while the lightweight hybrid aluminium-carbon composite construction — developed under RINA class by Deltamarin — ensures superior strength and efficiency.
Performance lies at the heart of the Conrad COONE 140’s concept. It features a Southern Spars mast, Rig-Pro rigging, and a push-button sail-handling system with three foresail configurations.
A 4–6 metre lifting keel allows for versatile draft options, while a custom-engineered 180-degree hybrid propulsion system by Hundested, paired with a fingertip-controlled twin-rudder setup, ensures agile and responsive handling.
The deck is outfitted with ample storage for water toys, including a Williams tender and two Reverso sailing dinghies. A large fold-out bathing platform enhances the onboard beach club experience, while generous crew quarters for up to seven ensure smooth operations.
The COONE 140 reflects Conrad Shipyard’s expertise and over 22 years of excellence in building some of the world’s most advanced sailing and motor yachts. While hull no. 1 is currently under construction at the shipyard in Gdańsk, hull no. 2 is available for sale, with delivery scheduled for 2028.
The International Yacht & Aviation Awards recognize global excellence in yacht design, aviation, and luxury real estate. Conrad Shipyard has previously been honored in the competition with its acclaimed sail yacht Bellkara and motor yachts Viatoris and ACE.
Voting will remain open for four weeks and close on Wednesday 4 June, 2025 at 12pm BST.
