A traditional style sloop-rigged ocean cruiser, the Conrad 66 was designed exclusively for Conrad Shipyard by Polish naval architect Juliusz Strawinski. The vision was to create a great all-rounder for experienced sailors, providing highest comfort and safety on their far and frequent journeys. Medea, hull number one, was developed with a strong and reliable steel hull, two 160 HP engines, twin rudders, robust engine room, large water and fuel tanks, providing maximum safety in most demanding conditions. Thanks to a bow-thruster, two engines, and a lifting keel, she can be operated comfortably in crowded and shallow marinas. There is abundant storage in the forepeak, and the spacious aft garage transforms hydraulically into a bathing platform. Fully automated sail and deck equipment, allow for comfortable and easy tacking, with the option of adding a light genoa and storm sail furler. The cockpit provides seating for 10-12 people and a separate steering station. The interiors, made out of American cherry wood, are richly equipped with a broad range of latest appliances. The standard version of the yacht includes four cabins: luxurious owner’s cabin, two guest cabins for 2-3 people each, and an extra double cabin for guests or crew. A spacious deck saloon provides a dining table for ten guests with beautiful views through large windows. There is also a separate lounging area for four people as well as a comfortable navigation area, which is fully adapted to travel while on engine. The galley is visibly separated from the main salon and is equipped with all amenities one can desire.
